At the moment there are already four corvettes transferred to the Coast Guard including the new optical numbers which are:

So, Hong Kong got 056As too. Then, the puzzle remains unsolved: 22 056s were built while only 20 would be transferred to CCG according to the rumor, but how about the rest two?

20 to the Coast Guard are just rumors, being relatively recent ships, some could be offered to friendly nations at a political price or donated, which have little spending power to dedicate to their navy, so as to strengthen collaborations with these nations including commercial ones and geopolitics.
Nations that may already be customers of Chinese shipyards or that could be customers in the future if the cards are played well, therefore nations of Africa, Asia, but I am also thinking of some countries of Central and South America, without forgetting a large Caribbean island , some of the nations have naval units that can navigate totally obsolete and end-of-life blue waters, or other nations that would like to gain the ability to effectively patrol their EEZ for the first time, or others that would like to regain these capabilities. after a decline that lasted over thirty years that even risked disappearing as a navy, a desire that ranks against severe economic difficulties for various reasons including external factors.
