What makes you think the video is right? Its nonsense unless we actually see a DF-17 lift off from a 055 via official Chinese military source.
Please take more care on such source's reliability and ask yourself how much likely is such a claim especially since all we know speaks against it and all reliable posters contradict such ideas?
IMO in any way the final reason for such a claim is fan-boyish wishful thinking in the same ways certain members once claimed, the J-20 can fly at Mach 3, are using already from day one operational WS-15 with a thrust of +240kN.
As such, forget it ... and probably do next a bit of research on your own like would such a monster missile fit in a VLS or not before trying to defend it with even more fantastic arguments.

No, it is neither my site nor do I don't want to talk with you, but You brought forward a quite unrealistic claim, mentioned two more than suspicious sites (in fact fan-made YouTube-videos) which are or questionable reliability and credibility. You refute each and every reasonable argument with an even more strange reply ...

It seems unlikely. DF-17 is ALOT larger than any missile that fits into UVLS. Perhaps you could adapt an AShBM to some form of canister and carry them on deck (even this is a long shot i think but who knows), DF-17 though seems like quite a reach to carry in a VLS system. Infact, i suspect the PN is going to follow a similar approach with Canisterized BM's on their boats as opposed to VLS based BM's.
