It is possible that our friend Tuplevtu144 is thinking of the 122mm rockets fitted to some Russian ships as the A-215 system. This is based on the Truck mounted BM-21 or Grad-M. I have added some photos of a Russian Ropucha class (Pr775) which illustrate this system. Most of the time the tubes were not fitted as seen below. Some ships had the curved blast-deflectors fitted - others did not. The tubes could be reloaded from below deck. This rather simple weapon was able to lay down a range of warheads over a decent sized target area, about the size of a football (soccer) field. The range varied but it was around 30 Km.

內地軍媒近日發布影片，首次詳細介紹055型萬噸級導彈驅逐艦南昌艦上的艦載武器，包括能發射智能化炮彈，還裝備針對陸上目標進行攻擊的巡航導彈，惟未有裝備外界盛傳俗稱「航母殺手」的反艦彈道導彈（ASBM）。另傳消息指，除南昌艦外，有5艘055型導彈驅逐艦獲命名，分別為拉薩艦、大連艦、延安艦、鞍山艦和遵義艦。

內地軍媒上周六（3日）發布影片，介紹今年2月初服役的南昌艦資料，其中提到艦上有新型130毫米艦炮、1130近防炮、導彈垂直發射系統、綜合射頻系統及雙機庫等。130毫米艦炮能發射常規的炮彈和智能化炮彈，射程可達更遠，威力更大。
影片亦介紹，通用垂直發射系統，由112個發射單元組成，能同時發射對空、對海、反潛、對陸的多種不同導彈，可做到全天候火力覆蓋；另有俗稱末端防禦系統的萬發炮，每分鐘可發射1萬發炮彈。當中對陸導彈，外界認為是中國軍方首次證實055型可搭載對陸攻擊巡航導彈，可能是「鷹擊18」巡航導彈。

美國國防部早前發布的2020版《中國軍力報告》指，解放軍可能在新服役的055型萬噸級驅逐艦上，安裝反艦彈道導彈；惟中國軍媒未在影片中提及。早前亦報道指，反艦彈道導彈的體積比較大，不適合配備在055型上。

China did a succesful test of an anti satelite missile long time ago back in 2007. So does India in 2019. This is not new. The only significant innovation is it can fire from a moving ship.

No. Hitting a satellite is relatively easier than a ballistic missile. Sattelites have fixed predictable orbits. Ballistic missiles can be fired at random location and to a random target.
