It might be IEPS, but with 40MW of total alternator capacity, it won't have loads to redirect to other functions.Doesn't have IEPS or is based on the Arleigh Burke class. For me IEPS, advanced radars and LO conscious Hull design would constitute as being future ready. I am very aware of the low offensive capability of the Daring class.
LO isnt everything. For ships where weight isnt as big a deal as on aircraft, EW is more of a focus.
Furthermore, future proofing means allowances for integration of newer tech down the line, but I can't think of a way that Daring could ever carry LACM, BMD etc in the future. Even slyver would upgrade to only a specific class of missiles.
Mk41, otoh, would have been a much better choice.
