Nope, just a note that it was just too fast. Chinese shipyards and craftsmen can surely build ships. Just too fast and too much follow up without paying too much attention to details.

That's all.

Is there a way to change usernames on SDF? Maybe you should consider changing it to "sherlock," given the vastness of your deductive powers.

I'm sorry but nope, it's between light and paint when I change my login...

Not trying to be a killjoy..........but looking at the side profile of the 052D, particularly the hanger area, the steel panel fit doesn't look very good and is very inconsistent, even if you take into account the light. I handnt noticed this effect to such a degree on previous Chinese warships!

Its a bit of a rush work with the first ship. Lets hope they pay more attention with the finishing work with future installments. We know that the Chinese shipyards are able to do better. No big deal just need to pay more attention to it in the future. There are 11 more ships to come!

Not thaat much better.

Rutim, we know that you are a Japanese. Please dont make it too obvious with your trolling here.

In case you are enraged by my accusation, I tell you this: If you just legitimately want to point out the differences in workmanship, then refrain from doing any country-comparissons, but use different chinese ships past and present for comparisson. Much less inflamatory, much less of a trollbait.

Here: Type 054A after weeks of operation on the high seas.

And here are two photos that will make you feel like 052D looks like a patched up and welded after a vessel hit by a missile before vs real 'AEGIS class' destroyer:

Can you see the difference?

Uhhhh... Can't you see the wavy pattern below the octagonal piece? Also, all the pieces around the octagonal piece also look kind of like duct tape to me...

Anyway, I honestly can't tell a difference between the two ships you show. I noticed the weird pattern as well when I first saw the photos, but decided that this was simply how war ships should look like, especially after Insignius showed all those ships from around the world.

You do know that metal contract depending on the temperature right? That's why you see them "waves" and "bumps".

Good grief.

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< MODERATOR'S INSTRUCTIONS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Rutim you are officially WARNED

Do not make such comparisons in the future trying to insinuate a bad workmanship on Chinese vessels.

Other posters, do not generalize in responses to such comments by trying to indicate that "all" of any nation, race, or creed all flame bait or troll.

Both of these behaviors will not be tolerated on SD Forum.

Rutim, if you think there are issues with workmanship, point them out individually, explain what you think is wrong, and engage in civil, reasoned discourse from that perspective. But DO NOT compare them to others in this manner as if to say, "Look how much better mine is than yours."

The fact is, lighting, heat, age, and other factors all play into this.

Do not respond to this post.
