The Book Club thread

Where we talk about books we are reading at this very moment, and recently read!

Right now I've been on a book rampage (for me) just read 4 books back to back and starting my 5th.... Thanks to my new Samsung tablet, book reading is more convenient, than carrying around a hardback copy etc.

In this order I've read recently.
1. Ready Play One- Ernest Cline (Favorite book since LOTR)
2. Fireman- Joe Hill
3. Fourteen- Peter Clines
4. We are Legion (We are Bob) Dennis E. Taylor (Second favorite)

Just started - "The Ultimate HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy"- Douglas Adams
Will probably be reading "Ghost Fleet" - G. P. Hudson next

You can kind of guess the genre of books I am into - SciFi, Fantasy.

Rules of the thread just reply to the person that has posted a list, try not to do spoilers for other people, but if you feel the need try to WARN everyone by saying "spoilers". Say what you thought of the book etc. give book suggestions to people if they ask etc. Or post some books you have recently read!

Enjoy!

If you have read either "Ready Player One" or "We are Legion" give me your thoughts about the books and we can talk about hopeful sequels! "We are Legion" already has two sequels on its way, one in March of next year and one later on. "Ready Player Two" is still a rumor. But let's talk! These two have really got me back into reading since I was like 14 reading Harry Potter.

Just a few questions:
- Are the books online or offline?
- What app do you use to read books?
- Do you have to pay for the books?

First time I have entered this thread. I edited a book launched in 2014 entitled "Naval Reservists in Action: WW II (FE) & Confrontation (1963-1966)". It is limited edition and a few copies left. They can be found in selected Kuala Lumpur and Singapore books stores. All Royalties from book sales are donated to naval charities. I have a few copies in my possession. Overseas buyers interested can contact me direct. Sori no internet copies - as an Old Salt I believe in hard copies for special books.

Which means books cost you money. One more question if you mind me ask; what's the average cost of each book that you bought?

I'd like to not state where I get my books lol. But I read them on my tablet. I just want to make a thread for people to discuss their favorite books. Not how much you bought them for. Thanks
