I don't travel around to different places that much but from what I've seen on like on cable travel shows on TV every region in the US seems to have their specialty. I just salivate seeing some of that stuff from across the country.

I love a good prime rib dinner. I was surprised by this clip from No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain. Since he's from New York, one would figure there was a good prime rib there. This is a place I frequent. I wouldn't call myself an expert on prime rib since I haven't gone everywhere to know. But every time my friends and I go to this place, it feels like the best prime rib we've tasted beating the last time.

Here in Argentine we love to have asados (a barbeque) usually with a mixture of different meats, chorizo (similar to an Italian sausage), blood sausage and sweat breads. If the meat is from a good cut I prefer to eat it with just salt and pepper as condiments. However there are some compatriots that love Chimichurri sauce for their asado. The only difference with the way I prepare it is that I use all olive oil (not canola oil) and white vinegar (not balsamic vinegar).

So below please find a video (the one that I could find in English) that explain how to make Chimichurri. Enjoy

Here in Houston, Texas there are all kinds of ethnic groups living in this city. I am fortunate to experience a lot of them through their food and culture.

Now as far as Chinese food, my favorite place to go to in Houston would be at Fung's Kitchen.

Fung's kitchen... The first time I ate there was when I was in college. We drove 60 miles to Houston to eat at Fung's. and the last time we were there was a month ago. We generally like it, but had this soup cooked in a whole pumpkin last time we were there. It looked cool and all but tasted awful...

My favorite place to eat in Houston is the taste of texas. Fantastic steak! Another place is called Peli Peli, the only South African place in Houston. Absolutely amazing food!!!

My favorite Chinese place to eat in Houston would be Peking cuisine, or Du Yi Chu in Chinese. It's one of the few restaurant that offers north Chinese food. Another place is called classic kitchen in the golden square. It offers north style snacks and breakfast.

My favorite BBQ place is Goode Company. amazing sausages!

Chinatown area in Bellaire street usually has good Chinese food and along with many other Vietnamese and Thai restaurants as well. Goode company is a great barbecue restaurant, but I like Rudy's for BBQ.

My wife and I love to have Chinese food once a week, or every two weeks there are a couple of places we frequent. One is called “Zensato” the other is “Budda BA”. Both of these are located in the area of town called "Barrio Norte". What is interesting is that and American Chinese restaurant chain has opened in Buenos Aires call PF Chang, but the food is twice the price as the other two and not as traditional, but the service is very good.
