@xyqq, this isn't a dedicated Z-9 thread. Stop spamming it with your grainy, low quality images.

By the way, if you're thinking about

Oh please!?? This is indeed the only thread for the Z-9 and where are these images of "grainy, low quality"??
I think we have seen many more much lower quality images ...

As such at least IMO this is the appropriate thread!

This apparently just became the appropriate thread after you've changed the thread title from "Some Questions about the Z-9" to "Z-9 in PLA service" within the last 30 minutes or so.

The thread was opened 15 years ago by a user to ask some general questions about the Z-9, thus its original title "Some Questions about the Z-9". It had served its purpose and remained dormant for almost 7 years until @xyqq revived it so he could insist on spamming the forum with low-quality and boring images.

By the way, reviving an old thread goes against the current forum rule that states "If a thread is old, or closed, and if new material comes up, open a new thread under the same name but add a 'II' or next available Roman Numeral to the thread title". And this is without even considering the fact that as it originally stood, this thread was completely inappropriate for the purpose of a dedicated Z-9 thread.

Indeed I changed the thread's title since you noted, it si the wrong one. But since it is in fact the only thread on the Z-9 and I wanted to avoid creating a new one I simply changed its title. Sorry that I did not informed and maybe stretched the rules a bit.

Otherwise I know, you have an issue with him but I don't understand this! Yes, his titles and descriptions are sometimes quite strange but the images are in no way all of low quality and especially those posted above from China.Mil are high resolution and full size. so what's the problem? We have several posters posting lower quality stuff and asking stranger things and in most cases no-one cares ...

Plenty of his images are low quality, and by that I don't just mean grainy or low resolution, they also tend to reveal nothing new or interesting, or simply not very aesthetically pleasing. He mostly posts images from just one commonly accessible source, which is

, and he does so indiscriminately and with incredibly strange descriptions.

What's the point in replicating Chinamil's gallery page here at SDF? Last I checked, SDF isn't an image or news aggregation forum. It isn't a photo dump. SDF isn't the place for the wholesale sharing of every image of every ship or every plane's every mundane outing or routine exercise. I don't think it's too much to ask for some basic judgement: if it's something we've all seen a thousand times before, does it really need to be shared? And must it come with such pedantic descriptions?

It's simple.
It isn't against the rules if posts are made with judgement and taste that is deemed to be poor.

Everyone's judgement and taste is slightly different.

I agree with you, frankly I think those pictures and descriptions are uninteresting, they clog up space and I am often disappointed clicking into a thread with a new post and seeing pictures showing nothing new or pictures that are visually uninteresting to me.
BUT, if other people consider those pictures and descriptions to be useful, then that is also legitimate, and their opinions are no less legitimate than my own.

Meaning if you dislike it, there is nothing about it that is against the rules, so just suffer in silence.

This video talked about how maintenance staff solve a foot pedal issue on Z-9. It seems that the tail-rotor is still controled by foot pedal mechanically,I wounder why they haven't incorporate FBW yet?

Avicopter AC312C makes its first appearance. AC312C is evolved from the Z-9.
