See Through - Animated short from China

This is being described as the best ever Animated Film from China. This is all the more remarkable as the maker is supposedly an amateur; a medical student from Chengdu, who spent over three years putting this sixteen minute film together. Somehow I think a non medical career beckons for this young man and comparisons with Nick Parks of Ardman Animations are not out of place.

I am sure that the graphic scenes of modern military conflict will appeal to many here, while the underlying dark humour and anti war message will appeal to old and young alike. Excellent concept, Excellent Execution, your the loser if you don't follow the links.

awesome cel-shading and really good concept. very impressive.

He has set a new benchmark for the chinese animation industry even with all the hardship he went through. He balance the movie to have universal appeal and yet very "chinese" content and culture into it. It will connect with chinese audiance better than pixar or other western movies. I knew there is something in the 1.3 billion people here....i just need to find these people....
