how's troop discipline on board? our RCN were recently caught in a major scandal where sailors were caught misbehaving in Hawaii numerous times, eventually leading to the ship being ordered back to Canada. huge embarrassment for the navy.
I was on a base at the time and were talkin with some navy guys, they were saying that drunkenness has always been an issue on board, for any navy in the world. now as a result of this scandal our ships may go dry.
just wondering if American sailors see the same problem with behavior.
also confirm that sailors are tortured (but kinda having fun too) in a gruesome ceremony when crossing the meridian or equator for the first time. i heard some pretty disgusting stories and was very very very impressed and appalled by our sailors' creativity...some of that stuff i think constitutes crime against humanity lmao.
