I think one of the most important facts the 2022 Ukraine war has exposed is the absolute falsehood of free speech in the West. The notion of free speech is in stark contrast to what I actually observe: the constant, blatant, and vicious censorship on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and other Western social media. Make no mistake: the genie is out of the bottle – from now on, Western pundits cannot claim that they have freedom of speech again, ever. On the other hand, most of us already knows that truth does not need a war to be a casualty in the Western mainstream media. Years of scrutinizing the West mainstream media has taught me that their reporting is neither fair nor balanced. On the contrary, it’s full of PSYOPs, propaganda, disinformation, misinformation, and hypocrisy, as their reporting on the origins of the COVID and the so-called “Xinjiang genocide” unequivocally demonstrated. I have had enough. I’m creating this thread to record all the preposterous nonsense in the Western media for posterity.
As for China, like the former USSR during the cold war, it’s under relentless and seemingly coordinated attacks by Western media almost all the time. However, contrary to the Soviet Unit, which became more and more sclerotic, and eventually atrophied and withered away, the Chinese system is flexible, adaptable, and resilient. As a result, China is getting stronger and stronger, and is destined to become the world’s #1 superpower, despite Western media’s continual and ruthless onslaught. So, what can Western media do? You guessed it: producing copious amount of copium, as well as the nonstop vilifying of China.
