Satellite update.

A satellite image of a PLAN ship firing missiles during an exercise. It's unclear what the ship type is.

A large dry dock is being constructed at Hainan naval base. Speculations are that this is being done to accomodate future carrier maintenance needs.

A fleet is gathering for a major exercise. I see two 055s, at least one 052C/D, at least four 054As, two supply ships, and other auxiliaries.

I guess a second Type-055 has been commissioned if its joining in a live-fire exercise. Is this the NSF?

Any subs near the place? There must some of them joining the exercise.

Possible. Could be fully testing its combat systems too as part of advanced trials by by engaging drone targets and firing missiles.
