Thanks ... most of all I would like to know if these systems will enter service (or if they are already) within the PLAAF/PLANAF ??

I can't think that they are all developed, build and sold to "unknown" export customers ...

I'm not sure about their status, but I'd imagine they are pretty far along the development process.

Judging by past Chinese behavior, they unveil something only when it's very far along the development process or is already a finished product.

I mean we are not talking about the Indians here, who frequently put the cart before the horse, often with entertaining results.

I'm not being judgmental; I'm merely stating the obvious: cultures differ. The Greeks are not like the Germans, and the Indians are not like the Chinese.

Does anyone know why the two designations? Previously they had the LS group of bombs which are also displayed at this year's Zhuhai but now you have the GB series which have similarities but not exact to their LS counterparts. I believe also there's the LT series in orange color.

There's LS, FT, LT, and now GB series.

I think they're all developed by differing institutes/companies.
PLAAF seem more interested (and rightly so) in stand off LACMs rather than relatively short range PGMs. After all, they're looking to attack command and control centres, SAMs, airstrips and naval facilities beyond the range of opfor's IADS. In that sense, a 20-10km LGB or JDAM style weapon ain't that useful. Even the 60km LS-6 isn't that useful.

LS series is made by Luoyang Electro-Optics Technology Development Centre (EOTDC), a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. GB series is made by Norinco.
btw, the new CX-1 is from China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, also a subsidiary of CASC. While most more well know Chinese cruise missiles are made by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation CASIC.
Back around 2000, Chinese government split up many big national defense and aerospace companies into smaller companies with the aim to promote domestic competition. The recent flood of new Chinese missiles and weapon systems is the result of that reform bearing fruit.

I took a look at the photos and it seems that most of the displayed "GB" series of weapons are actually the previously-designated "TG" series or the "TL" and "TD" series.
