Captain
YJ 91 or YJ 12 I presumed 400 Km and 205 kg warhead explosive . One scary missile
Well, the photo shows it hit radar so it should be YJ91 and of shorter range 125Km?
or both have 400 Km range any expert out there?

2 different missiles. YJ-91 anti-Radiation missile is a customized variant of the Kh-31P ARM. The Anti-Ship variant of the Kh-31 is the Kh-31A and corresponding YJ-91 version should be YJ-91A I believe. Air-launched YJ-91 max range is about 120km. YJ-12 is a much larger missile. Currently only the H-6G is shown carrying it.

Does anyone know what's this store under the JH-7A's (the one on the right in front) wings ???

IMO it looks not like an AGM - like the KD-88 on the one behind - or the KG600 ECM-pop (which is usually carried outside) ... a new EW-pod, some sort of gliding JSOW weapon ??

looks sort of like a new ECM pod to me. probably not kg600, which is smaller.

J-11B a generation behind J-10B in IRST.....

193_219515_701037.jpg

J-15, J-16 and the J-10B / C infrared search tracker (IRST) contrast. It can be seen that although they are nuances, but generally belong to the second generation of domestic IRST. The search distance sensitivity of the anti-jamming ability of Su-27 OLS-27 has greatly improved. The J-11B on the IRST has no protective cover for the first generation of domestic IRST, equivalent to OLS-27's older version...

The new generation of domestic IRST comes with a protective cover. The IRST optical head is actually a sphere, can be rotated...
193_219517_592115.jpg

When not in use the electro-optical head rotates 180 degrees to hide inside. When needed it goes out in a 90-degree range for scanning and tracking....

So the so-called protective cover is actually the photoelectric head back, and the Eurofighter Typhoon IRST installed on the Rafale and Gripen fighter aircraft have a similar design...

The J-15 newer aircraft are equipped with forward looking infrared search and track system (IRST), located in the cockpit in front by infrared imaging detection system, laser rangefinder and other components....

Here's another image of this new "store" but this time together with a KG600 ECM-pod ... now I'm again sure that this new pod is bigger.

I definitely is bigger.
I wonder if it's a replacement for the old ECM pod we saw on JH-7/As in the previous decade or so.

Also, any idea what the missile/pod(?) next to the LT-2 LGB is? It kind of looks like a KD-88 without fins but I'm not sure if the proportions are exactly right, and the markings on it aren't like what we've seen with KD-88 either afaik
