I don't think US were planning on flying B-52s through the strait. It would be the most provocative action taken in decades.Source of information is @军武吐槽 on Weibo.
According to various reports, 2 B-52s and 3 KC-135s of the USAF from Guam attempted to enter the Taiwan Strait, but were intercepted and chased away by 19 PLAAF J-10s. Upon reaching the southern tip of Taiwan, as the B-52s and KC-135s were about to turn around and enter the Taiwan Strait to the north, they ran head-on into the J-10s that were already standing by in the region. After a faceoff, the American warplanes were then forced to flee south.

Interesting tunnel on G6 highway right next to Damxung Airport. Near the Electricity power line, there are few more protrusions which surely look something different and could be for communication from sensitive items in tunnel
btw, there is an export thread in the general strategy forum that you can also post something like this.Stepping up the sales effort in the Middle East. A group of 20 ambassadors and diplomats from 17 Arab countries the offices of China National Aero-Technology Import & Export Corporation (CATIC), which serves as AVIC's international sales office.
