China's future helicopters could also integrate high technologies including AI, the Internet of Things, 5G communications, new energy and new materials.
For example, AI could be applied in situational awareness enhancement, decision-making assistance, intelligent pilot-helicopter interaction, smart cockpits, autopilots, boundary protection, noise-reducing smart rotor adjustments and smart landing gears, Deng said

Xu said that future helicopters could also see drastic design changes that overthrow the current, conventional helicopter design.
These new concepts could include aircraft powered by electric rotors, rotorcraft that can switch modes among flying in the air, sailing on water surfaces and submerging under water, and rotorcraft designed with easily detachable modules for different missions.

Wow, I've never seen these before. I totally don't know if it's true but this image made me think of a rumor I heard a while back that during a Xi-Trump meeting, Trump tried to impress Xi with how accurate US missiles were by showing him a video of a missile wrapping around the top and coming into the side of an aircraft shelter to strike the aircraft (I think in Syria). Could it be that Xi ordered the construction of these in response? Forgive my ignorance if this design was used there before Trump.

Those shelters look the same as the ones here, built before Trump:

In addition to what Arcgem wrote -- the precision of modern cruise missiles should've long been obvious to China and the PLA many years -- decades even -- before that Syrian strike.

Whatever efforts the PLA would've made to counter cruise missiles and PGMs and to mitigate their effectiveness, would've been started a long time ago.

And these hardened shelters aren't that special either.
