This might be a wild guess, 六弟 means the sixth brother, but these shelters are not for J-6, since they are all retired. So maybe they are fo J-16D? since the pronunciation for 弟 in chinese is D, and there is a way of calling someone with close relation by their last word of the first name.

here's the translation:
"sixth brother's new home has 20 rooms."

and here's the pinyin per google translate.
"Liù dì de xīnjiā yǒu 20 gè fángjiān."

To be honest it can mean absolutely anything. Aside from what yuxiao had guessed, here's my two cents. Maybe it's a hint that a new version of something is coming and the shelter is for those? or maybe there is some unit getting relocated and those new shelters are for their planes?

Actually I don't know ... I would already be glad to identify the base.

I just noticed three locations/names mentioned but I don't know a base called "Mǎ āo".

J16's nickname in Chinese forum is 石榴 (sounds like 16) or 石榴姐 (16J). I doubt anyone would call it or it's variants 六弟 as that's way too confusing for anyone to get the meaning... But there is indeed a J16D variant (D for 电, the electronic-warfare variant). However I think basically everyone will call it 石榴弟 or just 十六弟 (sounds like 16D). And I don't think it has got mass produced yet, so "20 rooms" make no sense...

Without any more context my guess is H-6... There's no way it's the J-6, obviously. And by 弟(younger brother) maybe he means the new variants? Or he could just mean H-6D...

@Deino I saw the source link you post on twitter but I can't open it for some reason, so I'm just wild guessing as well. Don't take it seriously XD

I don't know if I should not take it seriously. The base seems to be a civil/dual use airport, but the new hangars are IMO clearly a hint that this might change to a more military related use.

Oh no, and no need to apologise ... I take all (ok, not all but surely yours) guesswork seriously in order to find the facts.

Best,
Andreas

could be, but those shelters look kind of small for H-6 of any variants
