I don't think we have any reason to think the model is part of any specific project from any specific institute within AVIC yet; to me it just looks like they're investigating another generic flying wing -- likely one of many -- for characteristics that could be useful for a future project.

There’s a lot of cross sharing of facilities in AVIC, so it’s really impossible to say which subsidiary this model belongs to.

It's an F-22 model, likely used for concept research or to establish baselines.
