'PLA strategy for Indian conflict' is magnet for trolls

the newly formed 'PLA Strategy in Indian Conflict' thread will inevitably devolve into China-Indian flame war and be an HUGE magnet for Indian trolls from other forums, who will undoubtedly sully the quality and cleanliness of this sacrosanct forum.

We already mostly confined the nationalistic bickering to Aksai Chin/Ladahk Flash Point thread which already contains 1400 pages of endless India/Chinese bickering and nationalistic chest thumping...

What purpose does a new thread that largely duplicates the old Ladahk thread serve? So far the conversation appears to be civilized/professional, but even the Taiwan thread shows, it can get heated quickly with permanent bans for going Off-topic nuclear WW3 discussion with US and diminutive racist accusations (@ecaedus), so I would much love to avoid this again in future.

My proposed solution is to keep the bickering to old Ladahk thread, or combine new thread with old Ladahk thread to remove duplication (e.g., 'PLA Strategy in Ladahk/AP conflict')

It's a pity we are past April Fool's Day as this gives me some ideas for future threads:

For reference, the innocuously named China and India Relationship thread was locked in October 2021 because it devolved into nationalistic chest-thumping, racist stereotyping, and using of Nuclear/biochem warfare.
