It seems to me that the loitering attack munition in the test doesn't resemble any of the ones shown in the Zhuhai air show or am I wrong?

China operating Russian military equipment to prep for an exercise with Russia. Gear operated includes T-72. This lends further credence to the theory that China may operate the T-72 in next year’s tank biathlon.

Interesting. Does anybody know why the Chinese want to operate the T-72 instead of the 96?

For this exercise or for Tank Biathlon?
I was referring to that idea of the Chinese using a T-72 during the Tank Biathlon. For the exercise, the Chinese checking out the T-72 makes sense since it would allow better cooperation between the Russians and Chinese. However, for the biathlon, it's pretty strange.
