There was an image of some sort of visor posted in infantry combat equipment thread by By78. Note that the drivers of the buggy are wearing a similar visor.

British open topped vehicle crews are now often seen wearing the full Revision mandible guard and ballistic visor.

Interesting to see whether the PLA are pursuing a similar set of equipment. Wonder if the ones seen in both PLA pics are one of the same and part of the new infantry equipment upgrade scheme i.e.the new helmets, camo, rifles, nvgs etc. We've seen since the parade.

That’s because the driver and the infantryman’s visor are doing the same function which is keeping debris out of the face. This is different from the Cobra helmet which has a ballistic rated visor. None will stop a rifle round but the effectiveness vs fragments is higher for cobra, where the visor shown is more to keeping pebbles and BB’s out of the face. This is why the cobra also has the mandible.

Autogyros operate differently than Helicopters. The Blades are unpowered basically just mounted to swivel. As such adding more blades doesn’t always mean more performance. The power of a Autogyro is the pusher or puller prop that draws air though the unpowered rotor which acts as wings.
