What’s more interesting in those pics is the ultra rare limited edition final-run celebration model of Land Rover Defender Heritage Edition being seen in China. Those are hard to find even in Britain. For a minute, I thought the British Amy is testing Chinese military equipments... Anyway, those silver running rails don’t belong to that car.

True, because these photos were taken by a famous chinese car collector, he has some amazing collections, but I'm not too sure if this land rover is his or not.

Interesting... What makes these pics even more confusing is the fact in the UK the rear number plates are in yellow unlike most other countries. In China heavy duty commercial vehicles also have yellow plates. And the owner illegally put a fake UK style rear yellow plate on the back of that Defender.

This likely is from Heilongjiang province in far North East of China. Yellow plate on the truck says 黑(black), short for 黑龙江 (Heilongjiang aka ‘Black Dragon River' the direct translation of the province).

The ’E' on the plate is for Daqing City.

The real plate is the blue one that got pixelated, the "HUE166" plate is thus a decor or indeed a Pre-2001 code plate. If he didn't pixelated that plate out it's likely expired and just there for decor.

Pretty much the only plate that matters (to the Chinese authorities, ie. "to be road legal") is the Chinese plate.

Is the PLA trying to win some kind of vehicle diversity award? It would be comical to have all their tiny scout cars and monster truck MPCVs in a lineup together.
