Against the backdrop of tensions along the Sino-Indian border, thousands of Chinese soldiers were transferred to the Northwest Plateau to participate in the exercise.
The CCTV military channel released a video the day before yesterday (6th) to show the transfer process, and wrote that a certain brigade of the Air Force Airborne Brigade adopts a variety of maneuvering methods such as civil aviation transportation, logistics transshipment, and railway transportation, with thousands of paratroopers and hundreds of equipment. With a large number of combat training materials, the transition was completed in just a few hours.
According to reports, a brigade of airborne troops grouped personnel and equipment into multiple echelons according to combat formation, and drove from the camp to the railway station, civilian airport and railway freight station in batches.

Paratroopers had their exercise in early May, CCTV just chose to broadcast it now. Recent troop movements to the area were made up of mechanised units from South XJ, nothing to do with paratroopers.

What are the tanks shown here? Are those the old Type 99s? I don't see the gunner sight indentation usually seen on Type 99A.
They seem to be the second-phase modification of the production ZTZ-99 version
A brigade in the central command theater received new equipment. Does anyone know what these are?
Anyone think it looks like Counter battery radars? Or maybe SATCOM? What I do known is the platform. It's FAW MV3. Here's the from Military Today.
