A proper encirclement takes an order of magnitude more men and material than a storming action. I don't think you understand urban warfare.
NATO doctrine calls for complete encirclement before a hammer+anvil operation after achieving a 9:1 advantage. you post seem to suggest you know something in this area, please share.....

(Focus on "weak level, high-intensity, strong denial" operations)

Historical practice has revealed to us that wars are constantly changing, and "incomprehensible" wars are constantly evolving. Modern warfare is breaking the distinction between peacetime and wartime, transcending the limitations of time and space, and a gray area of war and peace emerges: a new mode of undeclared war in peacetime, and a formal declaration of war without firing the first shot—"Low The high-intensity, high-intensity, strong-denial" operation has appeared in our field of vision.

"Low-intensity, high-intensity, and strong denial" operations mainly refer to the integration of peacetime information and information through the comprehensive use of methods in the cognitive domain, physical domain, and information domain when the level of violence is downgraded and the risk of large-scale wars is downgraded. Wartime intelligence, using the power of ordinary people, the army, and even mercenaries, aggregates and launches dazzling, overwhelming, and unpredictable offensive operations, and strives to trap the opponent in cognitive difficulties, decision-making dilemmas, and operational difficulties, so as to effectively deny the opponent's intentions and achieve A new type of combat mode with preset targets for one's own side.

"Low-intensity, high-intensity, strong denial" operations may become a new model for the evolution of future wars. The basic manifestations are as follows: First, the level of violence is low-intensity. It means that in future wars, the possibility of some combat opponents sending forces to directly participate in the war is relatively small, and their willingness to participate in on-site combat is not high. The second is the high intensity of methods and means. Refers to more, more frequent, and more intense tactics used by combat opponents to launch wars, and may use cognitive shaping, cultural offense and defense, extreme pressure, sensitive weapon supply, and network electromagnetic attacks, face recognition sniper killings, and rear terrorist attacks The consequences of various means such as sabotage may far exceed direct "sending troops". The third is that the purpose effect is strong. Refers to providing political, diplomatic, public opinion, intelligence and other support and cooperation and cooperating with "agents" to launch military offensives, seeking to achieve the goals of denying the opponent a quick victory, trapping the opponent in a protracted war of attrition, and weakening the opponent's combat confidence.

On the whole, when the combat opponent implements "low-intensity, high-intensity and strong denial" operations, it can realize the cognitive intervention chain, public opinion deterrence chain, extreme sanctions chain, and firepower killing chain in the multi-domain space without directly participating in the war. The multi-line process is closed, so that the opponent faces challenges such as the enemy's hidden background cannot be targeted, the threat of the battlefield comes from multiple domains, dimensions, and directions, and the battle situation is difficult to advance and implement as expected.

What needs to be paid close attention to is that the "low-intensity, high-intensity, and strong refusal" operation is not a quick battle of the "warm wine to kill Huaxiong" style, but a "warm water boiled frog style" full-scale soaking and suffocation combat mode, which may germinate in the brewing , evolve in practice, and realize control in silence.

all of that sounds way too familiar to me, does this mean PLA showed interest to learn or even reforming part of itself using the Iran and the Hezbollah experience? I mean, for some relatively small country/organization, they seem to proven themselves to have one of the most advanced tactics right now, as well as adapting it to the local environment

PS: and no, as I can already imagine some of us might be saying, it doesn't mean that PLA will turn to worship Allah or any other weird thing people have in mind when they talk about PLA resculpting itself to adapt the modern war, no matter does the PLA in this case will or will not, I mean, we all know that Israel and US had heavy influences on the PLA back in the time, but they didn't turn themselves into Christian or anything did it? they will still be the same PLA with the same old traditions, as long as it's not in the way that much, like I said before, you need to have one of the most advanced tactics and adapting it to the local environment, simply copying the flaws and the traits of the Iran and the Hezbollah into this case does no good, those who's familiar with the history of Chinese revolution will know how much damage does that Soviet and German consultant has done to both side by simply applying the tactics they're familiar with into the Chinese battlefield (Yes sorry I know there're two German consultant and the second one did a pretty good job, but it's been way too long since my last read on them, sorry I can't remeber there names)

The picture shows the 10th Chinese peacekeeping medical contingent to Mali providing free medical clinic.
BEIJING, Feb.6 -- At the invitation of the Sector East of the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) and the local government, the 10th Chinese peacekeeping medical contingent to Mali went to the Rand School in Gao on February 1 to provide free medical clinic.

During the breaks, the Chinese expert team also visited the school hospital and carried out communication activities. The backbone doctors provided on-site teaching and technical assistance to help improve the diagnosis and treatment level of the local hospital.
And the Chinese medical contingent also donated food, medicine, health and epidemic prevention materials, as well as other school supplies, to the school on the same day.

Commander of the Sector East of the MINUSMA, who participated in the event, also gave his thumbs up to the Chinese medical team.
