For a major military power their NSW are not equipped well for a ship intervention. Thought they were improved more than this.
Not a mission set that is on the priority , as stated many times by the US defense paper , PLA does not have and don't really want a unit carrying out western T1 unit mission set.
Think of it this way , PLA think of it's spec ops as the element that operates in the enemies rear in support of a conventional forces ,they are not meant to be used for ship intervention .
Jiaolong as the marine spec ops unit , it's main mission is still sea infiltration ,intel gathering and sabotage , that it.

The PLA has always been very consistent in its excessive opsec when it comes to equipment. They show action but not gear.

You only get a true glimpse of their actual equipment when they are operationally deployed, and even then often it’s just what they are prepared to show during photo ops since we have not had any instances where PLA special forces have been used in anger in front of any cameras.

What US defense paper?
PLA does not have and don't really want a unit carrying out western T1 unit mission set
This is not true.
Think of it this way , PLA think of it's spec ops as the element that operates in the enemies rear in support of a conventional forces ,
That's the concept behind the ground force TZ brigades, whilst there might be overlapping mission sets, Jiaolong, as a naval commando unit, UNDER NAVAL COMMAND has naval-oriented mission sets.

You claiming what are and aren't "priority missions" is conjecture. VBSS capabilities are part of what sets Jiaolong navy commandos from just normal ground force TZ brigades
Jiaolong as the marine spec ops unit , it's main mission is still sea infiltration ,intel gathering and sabotage , that it.
WHAT? Then what's the point of the navy having a navy SF doing navy stuff.

They've been doing this mission set in the Gulf of Aden for well over a decade. They've obtained experience and have had plenty of exchanges with better units, and yet have shown minimal improvement in tactics, professionalism, and equipment. Priority or not, the most likely explanation is that there has been a failure to improve and modernize.

I'm pretty sure they're cosplayers.
Not cosplayers, they're from a training organization.

Heh, this is basically the PLA Amazon/Taobao-ising their logistics workflow.
I believe we have seen similar system back in 2019, from a TV program that shows the logistics that distribute the new XingKong sets to correct individual PLA troop, which is fully automatic with robot arms and all, it is unclear how long the PLA have been doing this and how many similar warehouse systems are there.
