This defies easy categorization, so I will just put it here.

An individual hovercraft from the First Academy of Aerospace Science and Technology Group:
- Useful load: 160 kg
- Range 20 km
- Altitude: Up to 1000 meters, but mostly below 100 meters.
- It consists of three parts: power system, control system, and structural system

I have no idea about the status of the project or how far along it is: whether it's merely at concept stage or some serious engineering work has been done.

I think it’s the Chinese answer to this.

Given Chinese drone tech capabilities, this shouldn’t be anything too technically challenging.

I think this would be an early conceptual design or prototype.

For the finished version, I hope they put in peddle controls like you have on toy hoverboards, as that would allow the soldier to free both hands for combat and other uses.

I also hope the get rid of the backpack fuel supply nonsense and just put the fuel tank around the base of the unit. There is zero benefit that I can see to have the soldier carry the fuel on his back, instead he should carry a parachute for emergencies. I would also prefer they equip soldiers that will operate these with wing suits, which may be more useful in the event of a catastrophic mechanical fault.

I don't know if this video has been posted before, and its a little over a month old. This is an entry level guide to understanding PLA's modern infantry formations.

Recently, the reporter learned from the Logistics Support Department of the Military Commission that through the joint efforts of the Logistics Support Department of the Military Commission and the National Energy Administration, after more than 4 years of hard work, more than 500 border guard company outposts of the entire military are connected to the large power grid, and safe and stable power supply is obtained at all times and all days. Guarantee, marking the further improvement of the combat readiness training and support capabilities of the border and coastal defense forces.EnHJzNxUcAAszug.jpegEnHJzWvUYAAeJG0.jpegEnHJztTUwAYFnbY.jpegEnHJ0IyVkAEhLi-.jpeg
