That's odd. The Miao (at least the ones who live in China) like it pretty much.

Interesting. Miao in US/Canada are most frequently Hmong. They are not fans of the Vietnamese communists, but most in the US/Canada do not have problem with China, that I am aware of. And China has in recent years being making a lot of overtures to them.
