Personally, new year is much more important than Christmas, because it marks a new beginning.

I hope every member have had a great year in 2005. I know I certainly have.

So happy new year to everyone! :nana:

Have you made any new year resolution? I make one every year but didn't stick to it most of time. My resolution for this year is to pass my driving test. It's become kind of embarrassing now since I am the only one still with a learner license among my friends  .

I am not agree with Christmas - its a sign of a new period in the history of human people. A period of peace and freedom to everyone all over the earth.
But I wish everybody a happy new Year.

argh, new year resolutions, guess i should start think about them now, because i know my spanish teacher is going to ask us that question first day of school. why do teachers always do these things? don't they ever got bored of it? (especially when everyone's resolutions are getting better grades...)

anyway, i just got my learner's license for driving yesterday (passed the knowledge test). yay!

I go to my truck driving license test next tuesday, the normal driving test went relatively smoothly just few weeks ago...

But as for resolutions, I have no clue wether i did promise something last year, if i did i cant remember what...hope nothing too big...anyway its not a finnish tradition of old and i usually skip most of thse international new traditions

Anyway its a second year to the forum and hope that in next year, this same time we all would be evolped, we members and the forum itself. We have still lot to do if we want to become leading at least in some field of chinese military discussion. I think its wery likely that we achieve this, even more, if you compare our state to the ezboard at its wildest

PS. there's still few hours left to participate in the christmass quizz and remember, there is Vip-membership status as prize for the first one who answers correctly to all four quizzpics shown in good old quizz thread...

Dodgy things resolutions, they always come back to haunt you.

I think my main resolution for 2006 will be to work smarter and not harder than I did in 2005. Things are changing very rapidly and sometimes I pretended not to notice far too long.

Perhaps also, I should show Mrs Sampan my love and appreciation more often; as I should, and not let pressure and stress let me take her for granted, as sometimes happens. Then perhapse she will practice her Kung Fu on me less:mad:

But ultimately I want to make 2006 my most most succesful year yet and currently I feel quite positive about achieving it.

Happy New Year

Ba Humbug, New Year, school starts 2 days aft new year........
Why can't make winter break 1 week later, it makes us so *** tire of New Year...... New Year come and at once school start. What kind of re***** made the schedule to give us so much stress........

New Year resolutions......... I might have a unique (and quite violent) one this year: Over throw my Chinese teacher and get a replacement (or better, 2) with AP abilities.

New Year's Resolutions??? Wow, when was the last time I did one of those.....I think about 4 years ago. Anyway, I take life by the horns. I don't plan anything. Instead, I make up solutions as problems come along (did I metion I love to procrastinate:rofl: ). Anyway, everybody on this forum, have a happy and safe new year!!!

so true, it's useless to plan something because you can't predict the future, so you'll have to make up new plans when the problems come even if you had plans before. so why waste time now to plan??? but i still have to make up something for my spanish teacher:(

any suggestion? (other than to improve my grade)

EDIT: got one (although not for teacher): make a new avatar for the forum. im getting bored of stewie.
