I built a MQ-4C Triton in 1/72 scale. PLATZ is the only makr I am aware of and it goes nicely with my Wlech Models (also the only make of this) P-8A in 1/72 scale.
This is a hight tech BAMS and PSSD2 mothdology for the US and its allies.
By placing squadrons of these aircraft in well protected bases all over the world, and then establishing highly encrupted communications for them...they can operate at 60,000 to 70,0000 feet on long term missions and provide an alternate data communications for US and allied forces to continue using precision guided munitions around the world, even if satcom goes down.
With communications spanning to Golbal Hawks, E-3 sentries, E-2D Hawkeyes and other persistant, high flying UAVs, the critical targetingdate can be estblished and dissemenated to bases, to C&C, all the way to the Presidential Situational Room, donw to the individual aircraft , squadrons, vessels, and commanders to maek mission decisions based on real time date.
