Moderators should try to keep posts on topic

I have just gone through 100 pages of Kashmir conflict. I would say that 30% of the posts are information or relevant discussions but 70% are mocking Indian response. Maybe a rule should be that after two pages of laughing at India per day moderators write a banner to limit on that topic. A few jokes are fun but waking up in the morning and read 20 pages of it is tiresome. This start to read like a discord chat or PDF.

Maybe SDF should get a discord for live chatting.

@siegecrossbow could you please not put fuel on the fire as moderator and lead with good example?

On the contrary I propose banning all Jai Hind trolls in the thread. If they do not derail the topic, we wont have material to laugh on. You can tell the moment certain "I totally want to humiliate Indians but..." guy show up, the productive discussion ends. All we have is laughing at their insane cope.

I further propose forbidding all new account from posting in that thread until 30 days after. That will for sure filter out the new jai hind waves. The discussion quality will surely restore.

Agreed, but the same should be valid for useless bragging and chestpumping to bashing any stupid post from the Pakistani side! ;)

Exactly this. A blanket ban on new member posting that thread is a neutral move. It is not meant to favor any sides. It is to improve quality of this site. If not contained, it could leak into flagship threads of actual importance.
