Legendary Hard Bone 6th Company

To all members a couple of years ago I read the book "China's Military Faces The Future". It gave a very brief record of service of a General Fu Quanyou chief of the General Staff during the Jaing Zemin administration and that he was the commander of a unit called "Hard Bone 6th Company". What are the details and history of this unit? And is the Hard Bone a larger unit or is this company just nicknamed Hard Bone? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The 6th company of 1st regiment of 1st division of the 1st army, hard bone is an honorific titloe given to the unit during the Taiwan straight crisis during the 60's, and the unit also received the title "Heroic 6th Company" for its performances in the 79 Sino-Vietnam border conflict.
