t's really amazing ...there are two current PLAN carrier aircraft projects - a new stealth fighter and an AEW aircraft - and from the first we have already several good clear shots and from the latter still almost nothing.
The fact that PLAN are investing so in these two projects (as well as J15B/T/D?) suggests to me that 003 Fujian will only be the first of many. You don't invest that kind of capital in projects without expecting to build serious numbers.
right. so J-15T , J-35 and KJ-600 cannot operate from type004 aircraft carrier ? XD
That's not what I said. 003 will be the first of many CATOBAR carriers for PLAN is what I meant.
I think Type 003 will be the first of its class as well. If the geopolitical situation were better they could wait for nuclear carriers but I don’t think they could afford to wait now.
