The fixed-wing shipborne AEW&C aircraft has a stable detection range of 200 km against low-observable targets and can coordinate with the J-XY. The J-XY not only has EO systems (possibly referring to its EOTS?) but also a 360-degree passive detection capability with a range of 200 km."

200km passive EO detection range!? That's breaking current known records by some margin. 200km range probably for exceptionally large signatures otherwise this beats most radar systems for detection purposes at least.

How credible do you rate this latest round of rumours? I must admit as much as I wish and applaud this decision if done, I'm still rather sceptical since we've heard this rumour already so often. o_O

内置的反舰弹有一款500公斤级别的，射程200左右，攻顶。内置最多四枚。。。。。。。

未来有一款修型的亚音速弹，射程翻倍。。。。。

In the future there will be a new subsonic missile with double the range..."

I have to say the alleged specifications remind me of the NSM......

I wish we would get something more substantial soon, rather than this constant stream of the repeated but essentially the same rumor through various PLA watchers.

Also, PLAN would also be nicely served if that 500 kg missile, since it IS that compact already, can also be carried internally.
While we're at it, a good companion would be a larger missile to be carried externally, perhaps one per wing, in the 1000-ish kg class.

I only have one request for @Deino for the Airshow (and he can refuse if he wishes!), and that is for him to ask the personnel at the FC-31 whether the PLA/PLAN has purchased the aircraft or not. :)
