Even bigger, plus a speculation on where the wings are folded.

Is he sure the wingspan is 13.6m? does he have source or is this still speculation?

Already posted in the FC-31 thread, but I think - at least this is what my stomach tells me ;) - it fits better here:

As such it reminds me to the FC-31 static test specimen that was transported in a similar way in June 2012 to the 623 Institute in Yanliang for static tests and as such about 4 months before its maiden flight?!

Colonel
The right fin tip definitely seems squared off and flat on top. The left fin tip is obscured by the rudders, which are both deflected outboard. The top of the rudders are slanted.

If the simultaneous outward deflection of the rudder is not just dropping under gravity, then it suggest the aircraft has no dedicated air brake, the rudders are deflected to act as air brake.
Why do you need dedicated air brake for a carrier-based fighter?

My reply to his hint was and what's interesting, there is also a J-20 (in red) visible and these are PLAAF pilots (?) and not from the PLAN Naval Aviation. So either it is a hint for a possible PLAAF variant as rumoured since some time, or these models are to represent F-35 against the J-20 ... or they try to fool us enthusiasts again! ;)

I wouldn't take the details of the models too seriously imo.

I wouldnt' be surprised if the models of the "J-XYs" depicted are just normal FC-31 models. I also wouldn't be surprised if they were using it to just signify J-15s or something.

My take is more they represent USAF F-35 against the J-20 since these are PLAAF guys.
