In that case I stand corrected. However based on circumstantial evidence I still think that they are talking about the J-21/31/35 here.

I'm not certain the flight test part has to do with J-35. The article I linked seems to talk about various projects at SAC. My gut feeling tells me that only the static test frame project might have something to do with J-35. I could be completely wrong, maybe the static test frame is for a different plane (a new flanker variant maybe?), and the test flight refers to J-35.

I don't know. We'll see.
