When is the last time you’ve seen any new J-20 with PLAAF markings other than the two we saw recently? The Opsec is very high now. It not even that could stop phone recordings once they fly around Cangzhou. Just wait.

Agreed and similar to the rumours concerning the J-36's appearance I rate this highly likely, but as always, typically we get at least a satellite image of a certain base showing a new type ... and here still nothing! So yes, we need to wait.

Can it be discerned which type of tail hinge it uses in this supposed production model?
Not with certainty, but IMO it might be the fully moving tail broom hinge thing because I can see a clear discontinuity between the lower horizontal stabilizer and the rest of the airframe at the top but not such discontinuity where it connects to the tail broom.
I certainly hope the PLAAF isn't a cheapskate and go for the hinge-type.
