Is there any news about Pakistan getting J-15?

Why should they and even if there some hype oven this ag the PDF, so for no-one was able to give a reasonable explanation for this rumour?

Pakistan gas no carrier and if China would break the non-export obligations, the J-16 would make much more sense.

Therefore IMO this is pure nonsense ... even more since the PLAN is not building only 24 gor its own use and then restart production for Pakistan.

Jokes aside, I think the biggest problems are:
1. Does Pakistan really have a need for J-15 and the Liaoning (or the Shandong).
2. Even If Pakistan has a need for these, can it economically afford to operate and maintain an AC like the Liaoning and/or the Shandong.
3. Even if Pakistan have a need and can afford to get the Liaoning and/or Shandong, is it really money and resources well spent? Couldn't Pakistan spend the money elsewhere to fulfill its need and get bang for the buck.

Great to see

if China really wants to master the art of carriers it has to master the art of the night operations

night landing
night take off
night refuelling
night re-arming
night EW silence
night attack

the night always belongs to the experts

Their J-20s can shoot down USN/AF tankers F-15/18/22s need to keep CVNs out of range, while J-11/15/16s can now operate longer/further away than before.
Local superiority is achieved!

PLAN carriers require a stealth fighter to offset the air superiority pretty much guaranteed by F-35s. HHQ-9 probably aren't going to be able to do that much and the USN sub and F-35 fleet are going to give the PLAN some serious challenges unless Chinese AShBM and the new hypersonic weapons can keep those nasty carriers at a distance. At least it'll just need to deal with Virginia classes without being harassed by F-35s. This way ASW planes can do their work better as well.

PLAN isn't there yet and the only thing really keeping the USN at bay are the two or three types of anti-ship ballistic missiles and the newer hypersonic missiles. H-20, JH-xx, and navalised J-35 can't come soon enough. The USN is quickly working on ways to defeat China's defenses. Local superiority is pretty precarious until new carriers arrive with J-35 and built in numbers with Type 055 spamming the waters in the SCS. PLAN subs desperately need the modern Type 095. H-20 and JH-xx replacing H-6 for cruise and AshM will also help. When all's lost, PLAN probably has some sort of Russian Poseidon like contingency plan with high yield nukes.

speaking of air refueling, do we know how many UPAZ-1 are in service in the PLAN. I've always had the impression that they are quite rare, as we rarely see them equipped and when it's the case, well it's mostly in training...
