Interesting observation: If I'm not mistaken & read the number correctly as H1741037, then this J-15, operated by the NAU at Huangdicun is construction no. 0005 (aka a prototype) and at the same time bort number 37, which was so far not known!

PS: minor correction ... no. 37 was known, but not as a prototype with the cn. 0005!

Wow! 地产画匠 posted the J-15B profile from my book "Red Dragon 'Flankers' | China's Prolific 'Flanker' Family" published by
in October 2022. The profile itself was made by Ugo Crisponi specifically for the book & is based on the few blurry images then available.

Will be interesting how close we came with it in comparison to the real one ...
