Is this a S.Korean CV plan???

I found this pic in ez board forum. He claims the S. Koreans have a plan for CV. I know about their LPX ships. But what about this drawing? Is it real or some kids dream?

That does look rather basic to me. What possible use could the Koreans have for something of that quality? Also the phrase "Power Corea" sounds like something an overly-nationalist kiddy would write on a picture he made himself.

Also the first one looks like a CTOL configuration, so why does it have a ski-jump as well? Plus the first looks rather long for a first Korean carrier. That would be larger than the new Queen Elizabeth class, pushing a Nimitz.

Last time I checked, ROK isn't in the JSF program. Either way, ROK has even less of a need for a carrier than, say, Canada. Also, makes you wonder if the proposed carrier is nuclear powered or conventionally powered, as using oil/coal to drive something pushing that many tons is quite expensive.

I doubt Korea would ever buy MH 90

Well the Queen-Elizabeths will be conventionally powered without using either oil or coal - gas turbines, the last I heard. Could something of the same ilk work for a larger ship, do you think?

I've seen exactly same pics when talking about possiple CVF layouts....the seccond pic is almoust direct ripoff of brithis design...I'm guessing these are just fantasyes as those Chinese GI carriers....

Thanks guys..Well now..It seems some S. Korean kid has taken a pic from one site. Cleaned it up. Put some Korean characters on it. And there you have it a wet dream made into another wet dream.....I glad golly knew what the deal was.
