anyway, is the Taipei 101 the only skyscraper in Taipei? I like it's shape, how i looks like a traditional Chinese pagoda, abit like the Jinmao in Shanghai actually.

Hey they look like real Chinese Cities after all!:D;)

I liked then Taipei picture, it is the typical image of Southern Chinese citiscapes that I love, the soaring high mountains and the rising modern towers in the valleys. Uniquely Beautiful.

No, they look more like Japanese cities.

Taiwan is supposed to be a beautiful place and relatively under-developed for tourism. It's probably worth visiting before more people start going there.

Some Japanese cities and some Chinese cities look almost identical. They don't look much different from some European cities and some US cities and some South American cities. There really is no difference in architectural style in modern cities. The only cities that would look different are more historic cities or less developed ones. Nearly all industrialized modern cities in the world look alike.

If Every Chinese gave me a dollar, I would surrender and reunify... RIGHT NOW :rofl::rofl: in fact, I think the vast majority of Taiwanese would agree with me. as long as it's a US dollar of course :p (or Euro and Pound works too)

I doubt that many Chinese people (let alone all of them) could afford to give every Taiwanese person 1 dollar. That would be US$ 23 million each!

As this isn't a thread about unification let's leave the discussion there. :eek:ff
