Destroyed tanks and AFVs

Besides aircraft tanks fascinate me, and still do. Especially the mini documentaries of great tank battles. It is always interesting to see the remaining hulks of tanks and other military equipment on the battlefield, since much can be learned from the forensic evidence. That is the quality of the equipment and the soundness of the tactics employed.

I’m starting this thread to post pictures of destroyed tank and AFVs / APCs. Maybe some of you share the same fascination.

If any member decides to post in this thread remember the photo posting rules as stipulated by Jeff and Popeye. Also NO PICTURES OF DEAD BODIES!!!! Please!!

Seems that most of the equipment I find is of Soviet/Russian or Chinese origin. Except for the LAV.

Still burning, these two Iraqi T-55 main battle tanks were damaged by a Coalition attack near the Kuwait border during Operation Desert Storm. The rear tank was attempting to salvage the first.
