It seems from the first picture that they are uniting the modules. This is always a critical time, when the modules must fit almost perfectly well.

The second picture must be older, cause i dont see the second module.

Actually, the second photo is a repost from a photo posted on october 9. I havent been able to find the first photo in the older photos, but i wonder if it is a repost too.

A new image of the first Type 003 aircraft carrier under construction.

Are these already segments of the deck?

This photo seems to suggest that they have made little progress since july. The amount of modules looks to be the same. I wonder if they have already united those modules already in place.

What i find weird is why those semi-assembled cranes keep appearing and dissapearing from the photos that are posted in this forum.

What we can see so far is the underwater ship. The structures on the site next to the modules may be for the gallery deck. But I suspect, these are assemblies for the 2nd to 4th Deck.

There is still a LOT of the underwater hull to assemble. I dont think that they will start the construction of the upper decks before they have the lower hull completed.

Heh. I didnt realize that some photos are taken from the front and others from the back of the hangars. Thats why i didnt see the cranes when the photos are taken at the back of the hangars.

So why does it take so long to construct the first type 002? One type 075 was built from scratch far faster than this one. The type 002 is more than twice as big and more complex than the type 075 but it couldn't explain the far longer construction time.

075 was ready planned when construction began. 003 will be redesigned during the construction. Besides, the construction dock and the way there is not finished yet. They just started to build, although they still have a lot of time. Maybe because the necessary resources were without any other work.

You are right. Basicaly, it seems that they are stuck since july. Those 2 big pieces, it seems that they still arent connected, why is that? who knows.

But now, they have a lot of material there, there seems to be a module in construction in the back, and now they have added a crane there. So who knows if construction will pick up now?
