Current photos showing newly installed tied down points on deck suggest there will be an aircraft parking area in front of the rear elevator at least as wide as the elevator. So either the island has to be smaller than illustrated above to make room, or it has to be shifted forward,

Also, are we sure the ship will have 4 rudders? We also know the stern depicted is inaccurate. It depicts a full transom stern of the type seen on US CVNs. 003 has a semi-transom similar to those on Kuznetsov, liaoning and shangdong .

I agree with you. In fact, the CG has many other obvious inaccuracies, such as the"CRANE"(Is this the correct name?) ,
just like Admiral Kuznetsov ⬇

the majority of the Chinese forums have a conclusion that the type 003 is most likely going to be conventionally powered with three EMALS catapults and two large elevators with an estimating full displacement at 85,000-92,000 metric tons. The flight deck area might be similar to Nimitz Class's and a little smaller than Ford's.

Is the crane actually on port quarter? Is that a guess or known for a fact? The crane in Kutnetsov’s position makes more sense because it can lift an aircraft and other equipment onto the elevator and push them straight into the hanger, and does’t have to lift the stuff all the way up to the flight deck.

The two pictures of 003 depict the space for the crane on the starboard side for 003. Look up the original images.
