The big round thing that come to the mind is the rotating table in the hangar next to the lift. Is this it? A clearer photo would help to confirm.

Yep it's the turntable in the hangar. It's used to turn the jets in the hangar so as to ease parking procedures.

Interesting. How big does it look compared to what shandong was at this stage? I mean at about september 2015, as you can see this page in the old shandong thread:

We may get a rough idea only, since there might still be some modules missing, and also I can't vouch for the meticulousness of the digital manipulation. At best we get an estimate of the dimensions close to the waterline. The final hull will obviously be substantially larger when viewed from the same top-down perspective.

Not necessarily. There are only supposed to be 6 decks from keel to hangar, 3 decks for the machinery spaces plus 3 decks. I checked some old photos from June/July 2019 and noticed that back then, some modules were already built 6 decks tall, i.e. some modules already reached the hangar deck a year ago.

I think the assembly plan is fairly obvious by now - they just have to join all the current modules together, and pop on the hangar walls and flight deck. There will not be any more large modules. Any modules that were not 6 decks tall (most are 5) will just be built up as needed.
