How does a conventional ice breaker form more of a step towards a nuclear aircraft carrier than a crane barge?
I can see a 2-->3 connection of sorts (gaining experience and TRL on the powerplant solution), but I don't really see a 1-->3 connection man. Unless the argument is you need a high TRL icebreaker project to then change the propulsion scheme.
There is someone do Length measurement of this Type 003 Aircraft Carrier.
According to his measurement, Type 003 AC will have at least 315 m Waterline Length with curent modules in dry dock.
If his analysis is true, then this is amazing. That's mean Type 003 AC will have same Waterline length with Nimitz class.

Nimitz class is over 330m in length
Aircraft Carrier have 2 length, waterline length and overall length.
Waterline length of Nimitz is 317m, and Waterline of Type 003 AC according to his measurement is 315m
