the width of said modules is visibly less, though. around 30m, compared to 39 m at the similar looking part of the 003.

I'm not sure how to interpret your words and what in the picture the key words refer to. Maybe writing in fuller sentences could help.

For what it's worth, I don't see anything there that makes me think there is a carrier other than 003 in those pictures. There's just the big super blocks of 003 being worked on and a few adjacent modules for other, non-carrier ships.

More importantly, if/when one day we do get pictures of the fourth carrier, it will likely be preceded by multiple months or even years of anticipation and credible rumours by the usual sources, followed by those same sources being the first to either gradually release some blurry pictures of it taken on the ground, or those same sources pointing it out on satellite images.
It's rare for us to be the first ones to identify something like this without them first picking it up.

This unknown ship probably is just a RORO ferry with a cut off aft angle deck for a large ramp. Its length should be around 150m judging by the length of the keel block lay-out, compare with type 075's length of around 230m. And the large "cargo" hold exposed in the forward section of the hull would be ideal for parking vehicles.

In my opinion, it is either a ferry or a motor vehicle transport ship with cut-off aft angled deck for loading ramp. It can't be 004 aircraft carrier.

Can anyone explain this a bit more in detail?

Allegedly from the front page of an official brochure of the 14th Research Institute of the China Electronics Technology Corporation (CETC), which shows eventually the fourth Chinese aircraft carrier (looks like no. 19 on the bow).

But I cannot find the original source and as such the question is, how credible is this artwork?
At least the given link leads to nothing.

It's been discussed here. I wouldn't put too much weight on this. It has a slogan encouraging students to do well in their studies and exams.

I think this thread can be locked and ignored until something properly substantial about 004 emerges, and that news can be posted in the 003 thread when it arrives first, with creating of a proper thread in due time.
