Chinese ATGM discussion

"regrettable", would be the more appropriate word.

I would just say China disapproves of its weapons being used against innocent civilians and leave it there.

At end of the day, the people using the weapons bare full responsibility for their own actions.

Or does anyone seriously think they would all be holding hands and singing without ‘evil’ Chinese advanced weapons, instead of beating each other to death with rocks and stones if that was all they had to hand?

Since nobody ever "regret" or "disapproves" the use of US-made weapons against innocent civilians, then the same standard should be applied to China-made weapons too.

Because, it is the finger that pulled the trigger that express the will and intent of the shooter, the weapon only acts according to what it designed to do.

Yes, we should not allow gaslighting be applied to us in such double-standards mentality.

Period.

Actually officially China never cares. She sells to both Iran and Iraq during their conflict. As many have already said it is the finger on the trigger that is responsible, not the weapon.

The question to ask is if Chinese weapons were not available would the responsible parties have done the same acts with something else, and the answer to that is always yes.

Still, its different when RSF is using HJ-12E which is top line stuff, instead of 3rd line surplus.
Just accept it as a tragedy and a reality of the world. If they don’t have Chinese arms, they’ll get other nations’ weapons. If they miraculously get no weapons at all, they’ll use sticks and stones. At the end of the day, this conflict is an ethnic one, and history has countless examples of such conflicts. Until they find a common cultural ground that can supersede their inter-ethnic ones, they will always find a way and excuse to kill each other.

This is also extremely off topic given how this thread is a technical one. Any more discussion about the genocide in Sudan should be shifted to the Miscellaneous News thread. Otherwise it will be deleted.
