Do you think the PLAAF will make their BVRAAMs low RCS along with being longer ranged? I figure the stealthier the missile the less time the target has to react and evade.
Isnt this pointless for most AAMs which use any kind of active tracking? Will stand out like a flare.

Active radar missiles don't go pitbull until shortly before it hits these days with mid-course guidance via datalink, so a stealth AAM could get in close and cut down on the pilot's time to defend. An external payload that doesn't break your stealth would be good too.

I think the main idea is that you can hang stealthy missiles off the wings of a stealth jet without screwing with the jet's RCS, increasing plane "magazine capacity".
even if the missile it self is stealthed, I don't recall seeing a connection part between the plane and the missile that's stealthble

The KF-21 is probably the closest thing: the missiles slightly recede into concaves in the plane's fuselage. This wouldn't work on wings, though.

Is there any information on the PL-15 variant that was supposedly being developed with folding fins, allowing the J-20 to carry 6 of them?

As I understand.. if you hang stealthy missiles from a stealthy fighter you end up with an UN-stealthy system. The reason is there would be a gap between the missile and and plane, which would allow radar reflections of a certain frequency just because of physical dimensions.
