The radar transponder of 11059 indicated its altitude of 28,025 feet (8,542 meters) and speed of 718 km/h (446 mph or 387 nm/h) near the Caspian Sea. At this moment, it was about 300 km (185 miles) from destiny.

Sorry, 11059 was over 300 miles (about 500 km) away from its destination of Kapustin Yar, and the plane was probably still at its cruising altitude and speed at that moment.

More jumps by the Airborne out of Y-9s... It seems PLAAF Airborne troops are among the first in line to receive the new generation of infantry equipment (new helmets, new combat uniforms, and the new assault rifles). The distribution is in the early stages, so you get a mishmash of the old and the new.

Are you sure this is the PLAAF Airborne Troops? The new caption says "Zhu Tao, Deputy Chief of Staff, 82th group army special forces brigade".
