Compared with the cockpits of its Russian counterpart the IL-76MD-90A (the latest variant):

...its US counterpart the C-17A Globemaster

...and its European (somewhat) counterpart thr Airbus A400M Atlas:

Images like these are a great reliever. It certainly looks the part of a 21st century aircraft - sleek, Sans knobs, switches and clutter, expansive MFD etc

Hopefully, China's investment into Y-20 is able to lay the foundations for a reliable Flight Management System that can provide an answer to Rockwell Collins /Honeywell dominance. (I'm talking about the civilian aircrafts).

An image of Y-20 with four WS-20 flying. It'd be so nice.

going to be honest. It’s not practical but I always felt those glazed noses were classy. Then again I always felt I was born in the wrong generation. Now then thing about AN22 is it’s more than Vintage it’s retro. It dates to the 1960s. They were slated to be replaced by the AN 124 but then the Russian lost decades of the economic collapse. As such they are still in service albeit only enough to be counted on the fingers of one hand after an accident with a circular saw.
They claim they will develop the PAK VTA, based on an old Il concepts the Il106 another talked of An124-102. I am skeptical on that. More likely to see new IL76s.

Again several Y-20As and H-6J/Ns spotted at XAC. The images were allegedly taken on 10. September.
But I still haven't seen any Y-20 with WS-20 engines.

A collage of 20 serial numbers. Pardon the large image size.
